How much does engagement photography in Bangalore cost?

Our engagement packages start at Rs 18,000 for three hours of coverage at a home or small venue with 80 or more edited photographs. The Signature package is Rs 32,000 for five hours with two photographers, and the Engagement + Reception package is Rs 55,000 for eight hours of coverage. GST is charged separately. Custom quotes are available for destination engagements and multi-day celebrations.

What is the difference between engagement photography and pre-wedding photography?

Engagement photography covers the actual ceremony — the ring exchange, roka, nischayathartham, and the family gathering around it. Pre-wedding photography is a separate couple shoot, usually done a few months before the wedding, focused on portraits and storytelling. We offer both, and many couples book them together.

Do you cover roka and nischayathartham ceremonies?

Yes. We cover roka, nischayathartham, and all regional engagement variations. We photograph the rituals, the family interactions, the ring exchange, and the candid moments around the ceremony. If there are specific rituals you want covered, share the sequence with us beforehand.

How far in advance should we book an engagement photographer?

One to two months is comfortable. Auspicious dates cluster during certain months, so if you have a specific muhurtham, tell us early. If your date is close, still message us. We sometimes have last-minute openings on weekday evenings.

How many photographers will be at our engagement?

For small ring ceremonies at home, one photographer is usually enough. The Signature package includes two photographers who can split between the ceremony and the family moments. Larger engagements with multiple rituals and over 100 guests usually need two or three photographers.

Can you cover the engagement at our home?

Yes. Home engagements are common in Bangalore and we shoot them often. We work around the space, use window light where possible, and keep a small setup so the room does not feel crowded.

Do you photograph family groups at engagements?

Yes. Family group photos are a big part of engagement coverage. We work from a list you share beforehand so the groups move quickly and no one is waiting around. Most family photo sessions finish in 20 to 30 minutes.

Do you shoot video along with photos?

Yes. We have a separate video team for engagement highlight films, ring exchange close-ups, and family messages. You can book photo-only, video-only, or a combined package. Combined bookings usually get a better rate.

How soon do we receive the engagement photos?

You get a set of preview images within 48 hours. The full edited gallery is delivered in seven to ten working days. If you need images for a save-the-date announcement or social media, tell us in advance and we will plan for it.

Can we do a couple portrait session along with the engagement ceremony?

Yes. Many couples want a short portrait session on the same day or the day after, while the outfits and styling are fresh. We can add a one-hour portrait session to any engagement package, either at the venue or at a nearby location.

What should we wear for the engagement?

Traditional wear photographs beautifully, especially at ceremony settings. For the couple portrait session, many couples choose one traditional outfit and one contemporary outfit. We send a short style guide with reference images once you book.

Do you offer combined engagement and wedding packages?

Yes. Booking engagement and wedding coverage together gets you a better rate and the same photographer across both events. Many couples also add a pre-wedding shoot to the package.

Do you charge extra for travel within Bangalore?

No. Travel within city limits is included in all packages. For engagements outside Bangalore, we charge actual travel and stay costs, which we will quote upfront.

What should we prepare before the photographer arrives?

Have the ring exchange timing confirmed, let us know when the decor is fully set, and share the list of family groups you want photographed. If there are specific rituals or moments you want covered, tell us two days ahead. We will work around your schedule.

Do you photograph interfaith and same-sex engagements?

Yes. We photograph all couples with the same care and the same approach. Tell us about your ceremony and we will plan the coverage around it.
