How much does a first birthday photoshoot in Bangalore cost?

Our first birthday packages start at Rs 8,500 for a 90-minute cake smash session with 25 or more edited photographs. The Signature session is Rs 18,000 for two hours with two themed setups, formal portraits, and a bubble bath finish. The Full Celebration package is Rs 32,000 for four hours of event coverage at your home or venue. GST is charged separately.

What is a cake smash session?

A cake smash is a short, playful session where your one-year-old is given a small cake to explore. It usually runs 20 to 30 minutes and works best as part of a longer first birthday photoshoot. We place the cake on a themed setup, let your baby do whatever comes naturally, and capture every messy, joyful moment.

When should we book a first birthday photoshoot?

Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable. Many parents book when the baby is around 10 to 11 months old. Weekend slots during school holidays and December fill up fastest, so if you have a specific date, tell us early.

Do you provide the cake for the cake smash?

We can arrange a simple, eggless cake for the session if needed. But for hygiene and allergy reasons, we recommend bringing your own cake. That way you know exactly what is in it and your baby can safely enjoy it.

What themes do you offer?

We have setups for starry night, floral garden, jungle, boho, classic ONE sign, balloon arch, and minimalist white. We also create custom themes based on what you have in mind. Tell us your idea and we will put it together.

Can we include the whole family in the photos?

Yes. Family portraits are part of every first birthday session. Parents, siblings, and grandparents are all welcome. We usually start with the family together, then move to solo baby portraits, then the cake smash.

What should we bring to the session?

Bring two outfits for the baby so we have variety in the photos. Bring the cake if you have dietary preferences. Bring a favourite toy or comfort item that helps your baby feel at home. We handle the rest, including props and setup.

What is a bubble bath finish and do you offer it?

After the cake smash, we set up a small warm bubble bath for your baby. It is a gentle way to clean up and gives us some of the most adorable splash photos. The bubble bath is included in the Signature and Full Celebration packages.

Do you shoot first birthday parties at home or at venues?

Yes. We cover first birthday celebrations at home, at banquet halls, and at restaurants across Bangalore. We photograph the decor, the cake cutting, the family moments, and the candid reactions of guests. Home parties are especially common and we are comfortable working in any space.

How soon do we receive the photos?

You get a set of preview images within 48 hours. The full edited gallery is delivered in seven to ten working days. If you need photos for a thank-you post or a family WhatsApp group the same day, tell us and we will arrange a small preview set.

What if my baby is shy or cranky during the session?

That is completely normal and we plan for it. We keep the session relaxed, take breaks when needed, and let your baby warm up at their own pace. Some of the best photos happen when a baby is being themselves, not when they are being directed.

Do you use flash on the baby?

No. We use natural light and soft, bounced flash only. Nothing harsh or direct ever goes near a baby's face. Our studio is set up with soft, warm lighting that keeps babies comfortable and looks natural in photos.

Do you offer video along with photos?

Yes. We have a separate video team for first birthday highlight films and cake smash videos. You can book photo-only, video-only, or a combined package. Combined bookings usually get a better rate.

Do you charge extra for travel within Bangalore?

No. Travel within city limits is included in all packages. For sessions outside Bangalore, we charge actual travel costs, which we will quote upfront.

What should we prepare before the photographer arrives?

For studio sessions, just bring your baby and the outfits. For home or venue celebrations, have the cake cutting time confirmed, let us know when the decor is fully set, and tell us about any specific family members you want photographed. We will work around your schedule.
